Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the western in an awesome game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that players compete against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, new players don’t have to fret about other, more experienced players winning their money.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game play, newcomers can take their time and strategize while not needing to make frenzied selections.
It’s also simpler to participate in for a long time with only a small amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier is given 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
